San Michele, 2018
sound recording 1’ 32’’
continuous loop
In San Michele cemetery island in Venice (Veneto, Italy), sound recordings of predators birds are amplified by three control units hidden between the trees with the purpose of keeping the seagulls away and preserve the graves.
The project consisted in a recording of these sounds which were later reproduced in a garden in occasion of the exhibition OLC in Borso del Grappa, Veneto, Italy.
This intervention/displacement aimed to trigger new interactions between the natural and the artificial worlds.
